Types of projects the funder seeks to support

The types of actions and projects eligible for grants under the programme will be specified in each call for proposals, and may be as follows:

Programme of support for Innovative Business Groupings 

Aid for the Connected Industry 4.0 initiative 

Aid for industrial I+D+I projects

Programme of support for Innovative Business Groupings – 20.000.000€ 

Aid for the Connected Industry 4.0 initiative - 95,000,000 euros of which 80,000,000 euros will take the form of a loan repayable at 0% interest and 15,000,000 euros will take the form of a grant.  

Aid for industrial I+D+I projects - 94,000,000 euros of which 80,000,000 euros will take the form of a loan repayable at 0% interest and 14,000,000 euros will take the form of a grant. 

Prerequisites

Programme of support for Innovative Business Groupings - Be registered as an Innovative Business Cluster

Aid for the Connected Industry 4.0 initiative - Companies with their own legal personality, legally incorporated in Spain and duly registered in the corresponding register, regardless of their size, which carry out an industrial activity and which do not form part of the public sector.

Aid for industrial I+D+I projects - Companies with their own legal personality, legally incorporated in Spain and duly registered in the corresponding register, regardless of their size, which carry out an industrial activity and which do not form part of the public sector.

Target applicants

Programme of support for Innovative Business Groupings: Innovative Business Clusters

Grant for the Connected Industry 4.0 initiative: The beneficiaries may be companies with their own legal personality, legally constituted in Spain and duly registered in the corresponding register, regardless of their size, which carry out an industrial activity and which do not form part of the public sector. 

Grant for industrial I+D+I projects: The beneficiaries may be companies with their own legal personality, legally constituted in Spain and duly registered in the corresponding register, regardless of their size, which carry out an industrial activity and which do not form part of the public sector
